Get a ledger hardware wallet

Ledger wallet allows to store only certain cryptocurrencies. Where do you store all the hundred currencies you decided to go with? Do you download desktop wallets for each of the less used/known currency?
Many are tokens supported on Eth,others with Paper wallets, for the missing one I still need to figure out something.
